real live homeowner here!

the house is officially ours!


we have several boxes in our apartment right now. they're just all empty. since we have yet to pack a single item, we won't be making the big move for about 2 weeks.

in the meantime, every 5 minutes or so one of us will yell, "holy crap we have a house!" it's fun.

....

so we were sitting on the couch after dinner...

me: i can't wait to show odin the house!

ryan: yep, it will be fun!

me: we could go to the house right now, you know.

ryan: yep, we could.

me: should we go to the house right now?

ryan (laughing) : maaaybe.

me: you want to go to the house right now, don't you?

ryan: do you want to go to the house right now?

me: LET'S GO TO THE HOUSE!

ryan: ok. should we pack up a box to take?

me: no. i don't want to pack. let's just go.

ryan: well, we should have some reason to go.

me: let's just take the measuring tape and measure stuff!

ryan: that works.


so we leash the pup, grab the camera and measuring tape...and off we go. TO OUR HOUSE!


once we get to the house, odin immediately pees 72 times around the yard.

when we get through the front door, he immediately wipes out on the wood floors. and continues to do so over and over...and over again. it was quite possibly the funniest (and most adorable) thing i've ever witnessed.


by the time we got the camera out and ready to go, he started to get the hang of things. nevertheless, here is a bit of him poking around...
