i do enjoy fritos.

2 weeks after his bath....odin has now reached the peak of his corn chip aroma.

the smell. is. all. over.

...disturbing as it may be, i can't help but bury my nose deep into his curly, white fluff.

mmmmm fritos. (hey, i'm a girl on a diet. let me have my cheap thrills!)

several months ago, when i first noticed this odor on odin, i quickly shared my discovery with ryan.

at first (as is his reaction to most of my comments), he stared blankly into my eyes with a look that can only mean..

"tell me again why i love a crazy person?"

this time, however, my statement was quickly confirmed. (ha!)




odin smells like fritos.



naturally, i decided this smell was special to odin. while other dogs smell like garbage and poo, my special little guy releases delectable frito lay pheromones.


unfortunately, my bubble has been popped. apparently, i am not the slave to some great smelling doggy god. everywhere i go, everyone (okay, maybe 3 other people) says the exact same thing about their dogs.


AND--a quick googling of the internets ("dogs corn chip smell") retrieved 670,000 references to this very topic.

damn.

i am compeltely baffled by this phenomenon.


...but i guess so are 670,000 other dog owners. i suppose that's comforting.
