through the entire application i'm thinking to myself, "what the hell is physical theatre, and why is she going to paris to study this?"
finally, on the last page of the application (on a form filled out by the student's advisor), i read that this renowned french physical theatre school is, in essence, a clown college. yes. for her dissertation, she will be observing clown classes taught by "clown masters." how awesomely terrifying.
